SETH PIEZAS, Benevolent Dictator
Mr Piezas was born Pennsylvania Dutch, but left the quiet Amish countryside for the big promises of science. Like hair restoration. Disillusioned with science but fascinated with technology, Mr. Piezas eventually found his way to Pixar Animation Studios where he worked on and designed technology for such films as Toy Story II, Monsters. Inc, and The Incredibles . After starting a small, but expensive fire, Mr. Piezas left (and was not escorted out as has been erroneously reported) to found Fluid Animation. A more fire retardant company. He uses words like 'synergy' and is Co-Executive Producer of Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil for Cartoon Network's [adult swim]. One day, Mr. Piezas hopes to build a robot sidekick.
ERIK SHEPHERD, CG Supervisor
Erik Shepherd joined FLUID in August 2003 after working in visual FX & animation in Los Angeles and San Francisco at such studios as Radium, Ring of Fire, Metrolight, and VisionArt. Mr. Shepherd’s work can be seen in the features Dragonheart 2, Dungeons & Dragons, Spy Kids, Dr. Doolittle 2, and Little Nicky. He has also worked in television, providing animation and FX work for shows including Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel. Erik has also worked in commercials, providing character animation for such clients as AT&T, K-Mart, and Capitol One.
ALBERT TRUONG, Art Director
Albert Truong joined FLUID in 2003 as a concept artist. Working in a variety of visual styles, he helps develop art for entertainment industry projects. From science fiction illustration to children's entertainment, Albert is involved in visual development for Fluid clients such as WNET/Thirteen and Cartoon Network's [adult swim]. Albert currently leads the art department on [adult swim]'s Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil and oversees visual development & production art studio wide.
PATTY JORDAN, Assistant Director
While attending UC Berkeley (aka Cal, GO BEARS!) in 2003, Patty was participating in a peaceful riot/sit-in/protest march when she happened into the FLUID studio to use the restroom. She was unable to find a way back out for three years. Mistaken for a desk lamp, Patty was packed up and moved with the rest of the studio to its San Francisco location in 2006. Since then she has had no choice but to help create exploding molecules, zooming dots, floating glass orbs, and swaggering penguins for the likes of Centrum, GMC, Target, and Oracle. Currently, Patty is assistant director on [adult swim]'s Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil. Hi Mom.
RYAN LONG, Character TD & Animator
Ryan Long joined FLUID in June of 2004 while completing an MFA in computer animation at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.  Though his primary responsibilities revolve around character work, Ryan is also involved with FLUID's interactive technology development and pipeline management.  During his time with FLUID, he has worked on numerous commercial projects for clients including Target, Microsoft, GMC, and Oracle.  He is currently involved with the development and production of FLUID's television projects Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil and Unnatural History.
LUKE SULLIVAN, Swiss Army Knife
Luke Sullivan arrived at FLUID in April, 2006 and was tasked with cleaning up after Eli, ordering lunch, stocking the fridge and programming the TiVO. Much to everyone's suprise, he is capable of editing, compositing and web site layout. In fact, this site was put together by Albert and Luke, proving cheaper than outsourcing to India. Currently, Luke is lighting, editing & compositing Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil.
